Mine are oticon spirit 2. any recommends
I have nhs bte digital hearing aids, but are private ones much better, or is it all hype,i have moderate loss.?

stick with the nhs that way u get free repairs and batteries i looked at private and decided no as i was told by the private hearing Specialist that they could me out when i was told at hospital that due to my op removed bones that the only way i could hear on that side was a op to fit a permanent device connected to my skull but i have a nhs aid in other ear and the hospital are quick to re pare it

Stick to the NHS hearing aids. l don't ever wear them but l know l should be very greatful.

For a moderate hearing loss I would stick with the NHS. Private aids cost an arm and a leg and for moderate loss may not make much difference. However, if you are unhappy with the performance of your current NHS BTE aids you should arrange an appointment with the audiologist. They may be able to further fine tune your aids for a better result – be specific with your problem and I'm sure they'll be able to help.
